Derive strategies

Only with genuine situational awareness can meaningful decisions be made. The Wardley Mapping training introduces Wardley Maps as a visual tool for strategic planning in IT contexts.
In the training you learn to read Wardley Maps, create them yourself and use them as a team to prepare and communicate strategic decisions. The core building blocks of the method are explained and applied directly in exercises.
You learn to use Wardley Maps as a tool for strategic decisions – from your first map to advanced patterns.
The training is hands-on: short input sessions alternate with practical mapping sessions, discussions and reflection in plenary.
For anyone who wants to not just discuss strategic decisions, but make them visible.
Prerequisites: No prior Wardley Mapping knowledge required. Experience with architecture or strategy work is helpful but not a prerequisite.

Whether as a one-off training to work through a specific strategic question or as the starting point for regular mapping sessions – the format is tailored to your context.

To complement the Wardley Mapping Training, our DDD Toolbox and the DDD Kickstart Training are ideal for connecting domain models and strategic decisions.
